DanceInTime did a performance that included these "World Dances:" Odissi Classical Indian, Azonto West African, Colombian ("Cali") Salsa, Latin Jazz, and Rueda de Casino.
nnThis performance tells a story of street performers initially competing for space to perform but working and dancing together joyfully in the end.
There are also short clips of a Rueda performance at Bossa Bistro in DC and a Colombian Salsa as well, at another club, Songbyrd.
nnBig thanks to all the DanceInTime performers.
And special thanks to Diana Gutierrez Cardenas of Mare Dance Team and to Imani Gaston for their original choreographies.
